Windows 10 keeps saying I entered pin wrong too many times Error

I've been getting this error for a few days now. Whenever my laptop goes into sleep mode sometimes it restarts randomly, I don't why. When It wakes it says that I tried entering the pin to many times and asks me to put A1B2C3. This also happens when I just restart my laptop.

    How to fix?

Can you logon with your password and then reset the pin?

The guide here gives a sequence including a specific time to wait:
How to fix "You've entered an incorrect PIN too many times" in Windows?

This guide suggests resetting the TPM:
You've entered an incorrect PIN too many times in Windows 11
(Ok it's Win 11, but you get the idea- shouldn't be that different)

And another by someone who is usually reliable:
Fix: You’ve entered an incorrect PIN too many times

Ok thanks, resetting pin seems to work.
