    account has been disabled

hi, just bought a new dell with windows 10.
During the point when you enter your new password and have to reenter the password the screen went haywire with flashing colours, it would not stop, so i turned the computer off. So i never got to set a password.
So now when i turn it on it says YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN DISABLED.
    Please help.

    Try this 1,

To go "Safe Mode" and follow these instructions.

    1) Right click on "My Computer"-----> click on "Manage"--> "Computer Management" Window will be opened.

    2) At left side double click on "Local Users and Groups" ----> under it, click on

"Users"---->Now at the right click you can find all the users.

    3) Now select your user and right click on it----->Select "Properties"---->then

uncheck the checkbox "Account is disabled". (Note: if account is locked option

is also selected, then uncheck that option also)

Then Click on OK--->close the computer management window

    4) Restart your PC and try to login in normal mode.

I just want to add, that I had this same problem. I could not figure out how to reboot into Safe Mode because it's just not the same as Windows 7 anymore. From the User Login screen, click the Power button, then hold Shift and click on Restart. Click Troubleshoot, Advanced Options, then Startup, and lastly, Restart.

Tried the above and it's still disabled on reboot, though.
