Force Windows to start logging in before password is entered

    so before, You were able to immediately start apps after login (for example open google chrome), but now it is taking some time for apps to be ready for launch? If so, than this seems like a performance issue now.

    Aha, I think I found it thanks to this SuperUser question. The setting in the accepted answer was enabled on my work laptop, which has always been working. It was not enabled on my desktop, so I just enabled it and shut my computer down and turned back on (not restarted), and I was logged in before entering my password, just like I wanted.
