If you like, you could use step 24 below to safely delete it with Disk Cleanup. :)

Here's a question: I'm going the upgrade route on my three systems: two Windows 8.1 x64 and one Windows 7 x32. Once I've done that I want to do a clean install on all three systems using this ISO. I would love to get off 32-bit, so I'm curious if I will be able to install the 64-bit version of Windows 10 on the old Windows 7 system once it's been updated and activated?
Hello Thunderclap,
Yes, you will be able to after the upgrade was installed and activated on the PC. :)

Hello people, I am now writing using Edge but my screen resolution is tiny because the Win Update now brings me my GPU driver. :)
- Yes, it updates automatically on its own after the Upgrade, as long as you have an internet connection. I did not have -because I always install all my drivers manually and in a specific order- but it activated immediately after the connection was established. To be sure though I used Syperfly's utility to save my product key, thank you Superfly!
- For me, clean installation means to delete all the volumes + partitions of my SSD and make it an unallocated drive. Then I install everything the way I want.
See you later with a few of my first impressions... Hint: driver update?! Are you kidding me? Better get all your drivers in advance, especially the crucial ones like INF, IME, AHCI...
