I use that ISO as well ... although I haven't d/l'd recently - my hash checked-out at MSDN then.
Regarding language packs - the default UK one works well enough for me.

Thanks Superfly. So if you were able to check out the hash, please do tell - what is it? That's my main question.
I'm not enrolled at MSDN, I was following a link to a listing there on the understanding that I could access the hash info, but couldn't.

Post the hash (mine was from a previous iteration) others will have the latest - You don't need to be enrolled to check the ISO's at MSDN...MSDN Subscriber Downloads

Hello Deblk Welcome to the Ten Forums!

If you want the latest build that will simply upgrade over the present by way of the Windows Updates. The latest 14316 Insider Preview build is also now a preview of the Redstone 1 1st anniversary general release type build that will coming in July. That will be seeing more features as well as the latest build now out seeing the Ubuntu bash console option. Insider Builds - Start or Stop Receiving in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

When the 10586 Threshold 2 Update that came out in November went buggy on me in late January I then simply enabled the Get insider builds option for the next available build to correct the problem. Of course in a few months time you will be seeing the R1 Update there anyways. But for a look at the next few builds in the meantime... first see how it goes with the TH2 on.

Thanks. If I am not happy with 10 will I be able to reinstall my Windows 7 back or will the product key be void after upgrading?

The product key remains valid but much easier to revert from a system image as others advise.

Thanks for the MSDN link, Superfly. It's the same one I followed before, and when I click on the 'Win10 1511 FeaturesOnDemand' file, I can't get the checksum details without logging in to an account I don't have and don't want.

Please, is there someone on this forum with the required access who could do me the small favour of locating the checksum info for the 'EnglishInternational' version of that Win10 file (I have it saved as Win10_1511_1_EnglishInternational_x64.iso)?

And I'd still like to hear from someone who can offer some helpful pointers as to whether or not the 'EnglishInternational' version is the right one for me (in NZ) to choose. Superfly (coming from the UK time Zone) says he uses it - but that is really no answer to my question. Is there anyone who knows if the file offers something like an 'English-NZ' option (which would include regionally-appropriate language pack stuff, including $ for currency)? Although our dictionary/spelling choices align with UK, I don't want to find myself stuck with UK pound currency etc!

    Thanks in advance.

The steps are child's play actually to see that option enabled. You simply follow the steps while in the Update & Security>Updates>Advanced options to click on the Get insider builds option and have to wait for the initial system restart to then go back in and move the slider bar over from Slow to Fast. Within several hours in most cases the latest build will then be found along with the latest loose small updates like Windows Defender and MS Visual Studio types. Once the small stuff is all taken care of you will then notice the latest build will start downloading.

Currency is a regional setting - it's not related to Language packs.

    Hey Superfly - great job!
SHA-1 checks out perfectly. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
So now I can get on with the business, and hope to successfully follow Brink's Clean Install tutorial.
    Here's hoping...
