Why it-s happening this
I mounted win iso Windows10_InsiderPreview_Client_x64_en-us_15042 with daemon tools because DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth returned.Windows PowerShellCopyright (C) 2016 Microsoft Corporation. After i upgraded on SLOW RING to Windows 10 Client Insider Preview - Build 15048 English DISM command fail...
Any advices please...
.esd? How? It's not available this version of Windows Insider with it? Only .wim
isnt it ?
If you got it from Microsoft using Option3 below, then yes it'll use a "install.wim" file.

I just tested a build 15042 ISO on my 15055 installation, and got the same error as you. It may be due to the build number not being the same.
DISM ... /RestoreHealth is failing on all recent Insider builds, including 15055 due to a missing FlightSigning package in the install.wim. If you check your CBD.log it will show this. The error is not very accurate, as it happens even though it found the Source install.wim just fine.
Check sfc /scannow. If it runs error-free, or fixes what it finds, your install is as good as anyone's. The install.wim in the install media is simply incomplete at this point, even though Windows installs and runs fine.
After i had problem with DISM and mount install.wim i tested somethign else...
I mounted Windows 10 Client Insider Preview - Build 15042 English iso with Daemon Tools, i mounted install.wim with VDISM tool but DISM still doesn't work,,,
SFC /scannow didn't reported error BUT:PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\ISO\Windows /limitaccess

Talk about invaluable info -- I haven't spent >2 days fixing windows since vista. But just did trying to get Apps working again with DISM borked the whole while!
I figured signing up here is a walk in the park by comparison (even if the confirmation email was located in junk/spam of hotmail) if only just to say THANKS DC!!!!
