Hello Aren, and welcome to Ten Forum. :)

You should be able to copy the old ones from the "Favorites" folder location into your "%UserProfile%\Favorites" folder to import them into Internet Explorer.

Afterwards, reset Microsoft Edge favorites using OPTION THREE in the tutorial below to clear them. This will get rid of any corruption in your Edge favorites.

When finished, import the favorites from Internet Explorer back into Microsoft Edge.

You will still need to manually add any missing favorites back though.

    Thanks very much Brink!
I will try to figure it out following your instructions. I tried to open those favorites from the links saved in the "default" folder, but find it erratic. The links there in the "datastore" don't even show the names of the websites. These favorites are very important to me. If they can't be recovered, I have lost weeks of work.

Hello mlauzon, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

You can use the method in the tutorial below to export your Microsoft Edge favorites to a .htm file.

I ended up finding that using a Google search while searching for ways to export them, had I known it was on here in the first place then I would have gotten it sooner.

Edge is now no longer being used, plus within the next month I will be getting rid of Win10 on this 4 year old laptop and replacing it with Linux Mint 17.3 "Rosa".

Is there any way using the Edge folder under Packages to capture the entire state Edge was in on another PC: including history, tabs etc.?

    Hello eelpout, :)

I haven't tested this, but you may be able to do so by copying the folder below, and replacing it on another PC.

I would recommend to create a restore point before doing so in case you may need to do a system restore to undo it.

    %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe
