    Hello eelpout, :)

I haven't tested this, but you may be able to do so by copying the folder below, and replacing it on another PC.

I would recommend to create a restore point before doing so in case you may need to do a system restore to undo it.

    %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe
yeah, I should have mentioned, I already tried that and Edge refused to run.

OK this has been very useful. Thank you.

But my Edge favorites disappear. On their own. I open Edge, they are there. Then a while later, I notice nothing happens when I click on them. Close Edge, reopen Edge, gone.

Makes me wanna go back to Chrome, but I swore fealty to Microsoft

    Any ideas?

Hello Vinnie2k, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

If you already have a backup of your favorites, you might see if resetting Microsoft Edge to default then restoring your favorites may help.

    Where did they go?

I did the steps, and now, when I click on the three lines and select Favorites...there is nothing there...period. If I try to do CTRL D or manually Add Favorites, I don't get to save because there is no favorites folder listed in the menu. Odd...I tried re copying the DataStore folder over and nada...

    Thoughts?

Hello RedLitnig, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

Which steps did you do and what build number of Windows 10 do you have installed? If it's not at least build 10565 or later, then would be because the old save location of Favorites would not transfer to the new location using this method.

I did a clean install... well sort of. I wiped my computer, loaded Win 8.1, then ran the Media Tool to upgrade to 10. Everything was fine, until I copied over the DataStore folder.

In that case you could use the tutorial below to reset Microsoft Edge to default to fix this, and try again if you like. If it causes an issue for you again, then you can just reset again.
