    Hi,
In order to fix the "Windows could not display the images available for installation" error (I used Part Three of the tutorial), you'll need to add /Description:"Your Description" on phase 4.4.
    This fixed my issue.

    Thanks for the tutorial @Kari.

    Hello Guys,

I have another question. I've followed this tutorial, and after building with success the custom OS image, I've installed it on a unit. After using the Windows 10 Recovery option's I've fully restored the OS in other to test if everything that I've configured would stay the way that i need.
I just noticed that after the rest, a new folder was in the C:\ directory, called "Windows.old". Is it supposed to be like this?

    Hi @Kari,
When I use the captured ISO on OEM machine (let's say DELL 5820), windows uses a different (probably random) product key for activation.
I used the basic unattend.xml file if that helps.

How can I fix this issue?

"Capturing install.wim from an existing installation only works on computers / virtual machines where all system elements and user accounts are located on Windows system partition C:." - can someone identify or give me a list of the 'system elements' of Windows10.

Excellent tutorial Kari, very well written and detailed.
    I have some to add.
If the administrator profile is created, new profiles created after that will not work properly, search mecanism won't work and system will eventually crash. The problem solves itself by deleting local administrator profile. Sit is the root cause of @khaliddubo problem.
    Best regards.

I have Outlook 2016 installed on my current system, however I have moved the PST file to another drive. In order to create a 'viable' custom installation ISO, you are saying that the PST file would need to be relocated back to the 'C' drive before running DISM to create the 'install.wim' ?

    Hi geeks!

Due serious health issues, I have been incapacitated and unable to take part on the forums for past 2+ months. Twice have I thought that OK, I'm back, but have then relapsed both times.

Since a few days now, it's looking better. I am clearly on the mend, getting back to normal life.

I can see a lot of posts I have not read in my tutorial threads. In next couple of days, I will read all of them, and try to reply to those still being unanswered.

My sincere apologies for my absence.

    Hi,
    Thank you for this tutorial.
I tried Method 2. Image captured successfully. The I erased install.esd file and copy install.wim to the Sources folder. When I click setup there is an error: Windows Setup cannot start due to missing information files. I return one step back and copy all files from .iso to new pation I created and names as 'Recovery'. But the same error happens.
I started from beginning and I tried 3 times but cannot solve where the problem lies.

    Thank you for your help

    Hi Guys,

I tried Method 2 and now Method 3 for 3 days but ı cannot pass sysprep errors. First I was installed via logining to MS Store. Then I started from start without logining but still having the same error.

Restarting 1 by 1 and deleted most of the MS store apps which caused problems. Now I stuck on this error:

35998AlexanderSworski.CortanaConnector_1.4.7.0_x64__f1p03rq2y10n8 was installed for a user, but not provisioned for all users. This package will not function properly in the sysprep image.

I started thinking somehow it is sysprep broken somehow or doesn't like Store apps which nobody mentioned about this in this forum.

Any idea (or I think I will follow another path)
    I attaches the log file
