    It sure is being stubborn.

You might see if changing your Microsoft account picture online at Microsoft below may get it synced to the PC after a bit.

Yes it is stubborn ... I wouldn't mind so much if it was not such a horrible little default image!! I know I am getting old and very grumpy with it, but ... grrr!

Anyway - sorry, but I have tried that already, and have now tried it again, but nothing changes ... except on the little notebook, which updates immediately, of course.

Thanks again for another very quick response. It is now getting late for us olduns over the Pond, so I am giving up for the night. I will talk quietly to the PC (with the threat of a small hammer!) before I go, and see if it can mend its ways by the morning!

    Very many thanks again.

Been out all day today, so only just checked PC. Regrettably there is still no change to the PC account picture. I've also read a load more web pages of complaints about this same problem - the majority appearing to remain unresolved. One solution (not confirmed as successful anywhere) would appear only to change the default picture to a new default of choice by replacing all of these in the default file. Not really a solution - more a hack bodge-up!

Would love to find that someone knows how to resolve this ... even Microsoft ???!

Another thing to try is to switch your account to a local account, then switch it back to a Microsoft account to see if it may toggle it to work properly afterwards.

Thanks anew ... I have now tried this as well - reverting back to local then back to MS account log-in, but it makes no difference. Additionally, I tried at the same time (and again separately) to change the picture again online and then toggle between the two log-in methods, but this failed to change anything either.

Sorry to keep producing negatives ... not my wish!

    That's ok.

Please go ahead and post a screenshot showing your account picture Settings after changing the picture to see if it may reveal anything.

This is strictly a guess on my part, DID he think to delete all of his cookies after trying any of these things ?

Thank you Georgia, but cookies shouldn't affect his MS account picture. :)

Sorry - I'm being a bit dim here ... I am not quite sure of what/from where you want me to take a screenshot.

[NB have tried everything again today and there is still no change]
