You're most welcome Buz. :)
....... I'm wondering how one can delete the current local account picture and set it back to the default icon ...?...
Hello Tommygun, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)
One could do so by changing the account picture back to the default image in the folder below.
%ProgramData%\Microsoft\Default Account Pictures
Afterwards, delete the old recent pictures from the folder below.
%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\AccountPictures
It appears that one can't add or change a picture for another user account one has just created (not using a Microsoft account or an email address). That's new.
Can someone tell me if you can resize account picture so it is smaller on initial screen.
Thank you.
I have a problem in that my user account picture is cropped. I saw in the Win 7 forums that the picture needs to be 128x128 pixels. I resized it and it still crops the exact same way. Funny thing is, it IS a circle, so shouldn't even need to be cropped.
Hello Orerockon, :)
If you haven't already, see if playing with the image in Paint by cropping it as needed to make it fit better in the circle may help.
