Build 14279 just like 14271 I cannot disable the Lock Screen. Tried Group Policy Personalization, registry Personalization setting to nolockscreen=1 and restarting. Still I find no joy. Strange that I am the only user that seems to have this issue. In upgrading to 14271 and 14279 I started from 14267 and the Lock Screen was disabled. This setting has carried forward in all recent builds except the last two.

It is odd that you are not able to disable the lock screen. If you like, you could try a repair install to see if it may fix it for you.

I also have this issue in the last 2 builds. I saw in the insider feedback a comment that Microsoft is not allowing it to be disabled in the home or pro versions anymore. I think this is absolutely wrong. Brink, can you confirm this?
I think this stems from the Group Policy editor.
I have seen this before and it did not make sense because I was able to disable the Lock Screen in builds prior to 14271.
Edit: Screenshot from 14267. Perhaps MS getting ready to enforce this policy in future builds which has apparently happened in 14271 and forward builds. I can confirm that the Lock Screen can still be disabled in the Enterprise SKU build 14279.

I take it you may not be able to disable the lock screen with the upcoming July 2016 update on some versions of windows 10. I guess the only other way to disable it, is to disable password login. My issue with the login screen, it sticks after 30 minutes of non-use. Another words the lock screen won't open, so you can't enter a password.
