I'm fine with moving everything, but I have no options to change anything within Settings > Storage.
The dropdown menus in there are completely blank.
What build of Windows 10 are you using? I'll do some testing with that build number to see if it may be an issue with it.

It should work fine in that build. If you like, you might see if doing a repair install may help.

    I'll probably hold off then.
Looking into swapping out my storage devices anyways, and at that point will just do a clean install.
Thanks for the help, too bad there's no "easy" fix, lol.

This feature worked fine for me before Anniversary Update. Now when i click apply in new location it tell me the location has applications from another device and if i want to apply settings it will delete other applications first.

I have steam/Origin/Uplay games installed in that directory where i wanting to send Win10apps, so i just not sure what applications it want to delete, Win10 wanting to delete my other platform games?

So now it only works at a empty directory or at least some directory you dont care to be cleaned? Why MS changed it, before it installed without problem with other softwares installed in same directory.

Hopefully it'll get sorted soon. I don't know why it requires to remove the other apps first.

Hi Brink, having just acquired a new self-build desktop with Windows10 Home Anniversary 1607 I am in the process of moving all the folders as described on this tutorial from This PC on the SSD C:\ drive to a HDD D:\ drive as this tutorial shows very clearly how to do so. I would also like to move,if possible, the Public folder, Downloads folder, Favourites folder andOneDrive folder.
Is this possible and how and what may be if any the complications?
Is there a tutorial on how to achieve this?
    Thanks in anticipation.

    Hello scopio, :)

    Congrats on the new PC.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend to move system folders like those. I find that doing so could introduce unknown issues.
