    Hello Novan,

    I'm afraid that the Microsoft account the your sign in to Windows 10 with cannot be removed from the Mail app as far as I'm aware of.

    If you like Outlook 2010, it's still good to use unless you just wanted to update.

    Yes, I'm still using it :) It works great!. The only thing I don't like is the "single point of failure" of the PST file. I got that corrupted somehow and had to set up outlook again. Im using IMAP accounts but its still a hassle. Is there a way to protect that file? Isnt there a way to have outlook create recovery copies? I guess this really belongs in another post now!

    I'm stuck with my microsoft account in my mail app, even though I never added it and I am using a local account, anyone else dealt with this? The most I have done is sign in once with my account, possibly in the edge browser and now it's locked to my mail app with no option for removal. Will I really need to add another email account before I get the option to remove this one?

    Hello Be4stElectrjc, :)

    If you like, you could use step 14 to add a POP account to the Mail app.

    Already have it, just want:

    POP3->IMAP4

    Don't want to delete my POP3 and re-add it as IMAP4 because have many accounts and once done i must re-sort them.

    I'm not sure how without having to add them again as IMAP4, and deleting the POP3 afterwards.
