How to Add Account to Outlook in Office 365 Mobile for iOS
Outlook for iOS
is part of the Office 365 Mobile suite and is available as a free download from the App Store
. Once Outlook for iOS
is installed you can add your existing Microsoft Outlook
account to Outlook for iOS
to download your emails to your iPhone. You can add accounts from either @outlook.com
. This also includes international domains such as @outlook.co.uk
or any custom domain that is hosted on Outlook.com
Outlook for iOS
requires iOS 8.0 or higher.

Add an Account
Download the app from the App Store
Open the app and tap on ADD AN ACCOUNT
3: Tap on the Outlook.com tile.
4: Enter your Outlook.com email address and password.
5: Choose whether to let the app access your info.
6: You will now receive confirmation that the account has been added and will have the option to take a quick tour. You can tap the X at the top right hand corner to skip the tour and go straight to your inbox.
If you receive a Timeout message this means that you have entered either your email address or password incorrectly. Retype your email address and password and try to add the account again.
You will now be taken to your inbox.
Remove an Account
To remove an existing Outlook.com
account from Outlook for iOS
follow the steps below.
Tap on Settings
2: Tap on the account you wish to remove.
3: Tap on Remove Account.
4: Choose whether to remove the account from the Device only or from the Device and Remote Data.
5: The chosen account will now be deleted from your device.
The Focused Inbox intelligently presorts your emails by placing your most important emails in Focused and all other emails in Other. The system takes into account emails and contacts who you interact with and filters out 'noise' such as auto-generated emails or bulk emails. The more you use Focused Inbox the better it gets. You can reclassify emails between Focused and Other by opening an email and selecting Move from the dropdown menu.
To switch between Focused
tap the desired tab at the top of your inbox.
2: To reclassify an email between Focused or Other click on the dropdown menu and select the inbox you wish mails from that particular sender to appear.
To turn off the Focused Inbox
option tap on Settings
, scroll down to Focused Inbox
and toggle the button to off.
