    Folders keep reappearing

The script "64-bit_Remove_All_user_Folders_in_This_PC.reg" has a major bug. The linked folders keep reappearing under This PC. This is what happens:

    1. Quick Access and This PC both contain the Documents folder
    2. The "64-bit_Remove_All_user_Folders_in_This_PC.reg" script is applied
    3. The linked folders disappear from This PC. Everything is fine.
    4. I click the Documents folder under Quick Access, then double click a documents sub folder on the right panel.
    5. The Documents folder reappears under This PC.

The idea of my setup is to have all common folders pinned under Quick Access, and none under This PC to avoid any duplicates. Is there any way to fix this?

@Brink, Shawn, FYI.... I just tested removing & restoring x64 Music & Videos on both 10586.494 and Insider 14393. They work fine, but the restart "12. You can either restart explorer process or restart computer to apply" appears to not be necessary. Probably Explorer changes since May 2015. TC

Hello CNSZU, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

When you close and reopen File Explorer next, does the folder go away again under This PC?

    Hello Dick, :)

Thank you. I've found that it sometimes may not get applied right away, and just added step 12 as a precaution to make sure it get's applied for everyone.

This doesn't work for me after installing the anniversary update. Anyone experiencing this?

Scratch that, I just had to use the restore and then use the remove again and it worked.

Hello salimtn, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

Please go ahead and post a screenshot showing your "This PC" window to see if anything may stand out.

I would like to share that I was able to find what I wanted last year using howtogeek's tweak.
Their tweaks removed the folders from only This PC. The tweaks from this tutorial removed the folders from both This PC and user profile, which was bad when I needed to find one of the folders in the Open/Save dialog.

Here's how my explorer look like now.. The folders are hidden in This PC only but not the user profile (through the breadcrumb link).

Now if I can reorder the Pictures to go above Downloads in the navigation pane, we'll be golden! :)

That view is simply too cluttered.
This is the view of my user profile folder (%userprofile%).

What I want is the above, whereby those in the box are gone and those ticked are still there.
Instead, the all-in-one registry tweak removed everything in the pink box (which is correct) AND the folders marked by the pink tick (which is not what I want).
I need my user profile folder to show those folders especially for the Open/Save dialog:

I know Libraries are a possible workaround, but I would rather undo the registry tweak than use Libraries.
