How to Add and Remove a Network Location for This PC in Windows 10

When you add a network location, you are creating a shortcut in This PC to an Internet storage location, such as a website or FTP site. A network location has the following characteristics:
  • A drive letter is not assigned to it.
  • It can point to either external resources found on the Internet and to resources found in your network/intranet.
  • You need the user name and password credentials to connect to it if not allowed to log on anonymously.

This tutorial will show you how to add and remove a network location for This PC for your account in Windows 10.
