No it's another TEMP profile. Just a different name.

Well, let's see what's in your "C:\Users" folder to see if it may have created a new profile folder.

Is this for a local account or Microsoft account?

If all else fails, you may be able to create a new account on the computer, and sign in to it to see if it works properly without getting a temp profile.

Is it safe to delete the other profiles in that folder that I don't want to use?

Every time I reboot the PC it puts the "StarWarsGeek" profile into a .bak folder

It's safe to delete the Temp folders, but you won't be able to delete one if it's the current profile being used.

As a test, try each of the different "StarWarsGeek" folders to see if one of them may be a working profile.

The only profile that actually has any files in it - or at least the files I'm trying to access, like movies and music - is the main StarWarsGeek profile. The others have zero files in the music/video folders.

In that case, delete the other empty folders, and try one more time for the main StarWarsGeek profile.

If that doesn't work, then you may need to create a new account on the PC. If it also gets a temp profile, then the next option would be a repair install.

OK I created a new administrator account, and went in thru that and deleted ALL the other TEMP and StarWarsGeek.Desktop accounts. I rebooted and signed in as StarWarsGeek and it made a new TEMP account for me to use. It won't let me use my StarWarsGeek account. Does that mean it's just toast? Do I have to just copy my movies and music to my new administrator account?

It looks like the StarWarsGeek profile is corrupted.

Yes, luckily you'll be able to copy over any files you wanted from the StarWarsGeek folder into the new account's folder.

Hello Josalin, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

Please provide more details about which steps you followed, and screenshots showing your registry and your "C:\Users" folder.
