I tried Option 3 to remove Groove Music, is there some trick to re-installing it? I did Edge some time ago successfully. I get this error when trying to reinstall it:

    Uninstall Apps in Windows 10-grooverror.png

Which is the same error I was getting before, before I tried to remove it.

(Edit) I just tried the trick for reinstalling all apps, the visible activity window vanished but the command is still running. And now Groove won't open at all.

    Hello Jonny,

OPTION 3 completely removes it from the PC for all users, so the command you used won't be able to reinstall it.

Instead, you might see if you may be able to install Groove Music from your library in the Store instead.

Nope, it wont show there. Its showing as installed, it just wont work and the updates fail.

See if after uninstalling it using OPTION TWO, you may be able to successfully reinstall it from the Store afterwards.

Okay so try to run option 2 and see if it removes it? Alright I'll try that I really wouldn't bother me to not even have the app in my PC but I just like everything to be working.

Damn it! My PC completely freezes up anytime I use edge or Internet Explorer. I thought it had to do with one of my hard drives going bad but it still does it even with the drive removed.

It started uninstalling and then it gave me an error message that it couldn't find the package.

Sorry my crappy Samsung tablet doesn't take very good pictures.

In that case, see if you may be able to search for Groove Music in the Store to hopefully be able to install.

The link below will take you to it in the Store after clicking on Get the app there.

Your request appears to be from an automated process

It acts as if the app is still installed, and tries to update it. It gets stuck at about the 3/4 mark.

Do you get any errors when it gets stuck?

If you haven't already, let it sit for a while to see if it may continue or finish.
