I did discover later that if I removed and then recreated the toolbar the glitch would go away.

    Hi

I've added Quick Launch and Desktop toolbars to my taskbar but Win 10 'forgets' this very often and after restart they are not there. Can anyone help me?

    Thanks.

Hello bolshed, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

Do you have Windows set to automatically sign you in at startup? This was an issue in Windows 7 that Microsoft released a hotfix for, but I would have thought it should be fixed in Windows 10.

As a test, save your theme after adding Quick Launch to see if that may help it stick.

If that doesn't help, then see if using the tutorial below to reset and clear taskbar toolbars may help. You'll have to add all your toolbars back again afterwards though.

Hello Akd, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

The "Switch between windows" shortcut in Quick Launch no longer works in Windows 10.

If you like, here are some alternatives below for switching between open apps.

G'Day. Windows 10 Pro. I would like to add "Refresh" to the Quick Launch Toolbar. Is it possible & how to do it?

    Hello, :)

Did you want the "F5" or "Refresh Windows" type of refresh?

I'm not sure it'll work with F5, but you could try something like Auto it to send the F5 key.

It'll be easier to just press F5 to refresh if you like though.

Thanks. Bit of a red face here.... completely forgot about the FN/F5 key on my Toshiba P50t-A.
