Create System Restore Point shortcut in Windows 10

I followed your instructions to create a scheduled system restore point, but have a problem.

I have the 64 bit version of Windows 10, and I used the shorcut.zip which creates without a description prompt or a success message. I set the shortcut to run when the PC is switched on.

The problem is that after Windows boots the UAC message appears and the
system restore point will only be created if I click to agree to changes being made.

How can the message be by-passed without changing from the default UAC
setting?

Double check starting at the post below to make sure that you used that steps in the tutorial in the link below, but used the instant restore point shortcut here instead.

I am not sure from your reply what steps you want me to take.

I have attached a copy of the zip file that I used, is this the one you advise me to use?

on old pc, I never created a SRP. but on this new one I always do. every month I delete old SRP and replace with new one. -because you never know when you might run into a major hiccup that needs an SRP

Sorry, I'm still don't understand what you are advising me to do.

The link you have provided takes me to Win 7 forums, and Method Two is for use with the Task Scheduler.

I set up my PC for a SR point each time it is switched on. I did that by putting the script in the "System Startup" folder. This produces the UAC message on start up, which I would like to by-pass.

I'll see if I can't create a new tutorial within the next few days for automatically creating a restore point at startup without getting a UAC prompt to help.
