#190
Hello Peter,
"100" is for creating the restore point, and the last number (ex: "4") is to specify the "Type" of restore point.
More here: Create System Restore Point shortcut in Windows 10
Sorry to wake this thread, but is there something I need to change to get this to work with Win11 ?
Any link to a new version ?
You need to ask the question about Win 11 on the Win 11 forum.
Many of the members here are also members there. As it's a newer forum, there will be fewer posts to search and less accumulated experience recorded.
You can help with that by posting there. Thank you.
Brink,
People are making use of this tutorial's scripts in Windows 11 so are having to modify the scripts to suit that OS.
Please consider making this tutorial into a combined one for Windows 10 & Windows 11.
I think all you need to do is amend one line in each of your scripts to make them work correctly in both 10 & 11:
Change this line from
toCode:If GetOS = "Windows 8" Or GetOS = "Windows 10" Then
Code:If GetOS = "Windows 8" Or GetOS = "Windows 10" Or GetOS = "Windows 11" Then
All the best,
Denis
You guys/gals in here, and especially you Brink, just utterly amaze me with your expertise.
I've been grateful for it more times than I can remember.
Cheers !
