    You may need to clean install Windows 10 instead then.

    You will with a clean install.

    If you like, you could try refreshing Windows 10 by booting from your installation media using OPTION ONE on the first page here instead.

    It's looking like a clean install may be needed then.

    You could try creating and using a Live Peppermint USB/DVD to back up your files with.
