    Hey Brink,

After doing this, it uninstalled most of my software, including some I can't get back until I find the disc's

Is there a way to roll back from this or possibly shift everything from windows.old to my main files so I have my programs and stuff again?

    Hello Jason,

Yep, a refresh will remove your installed apps.

    Refresh Windows 10-19905d1432569382-refresh-windows-10-refresh_windows_10_at_boot-4.png

You could see if you may be able to go back to the previous Windows to undo it.

I tried using Microsoft's automated program for putting everything from windows.old to their original locations, but some files went missing. Also my rollback time expired but will option 1 still work?

Not if it has been longer than 30 days.

If you don't have a system image dated before you did this to restore, then you may have to manually reinstall all your apps.

Hello Rudra, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

If you haven't already, you might see if you may be able to refresh using Windows 10 installation media instead.

There are some good steps here to solve this:

But before that wait and see what Shawn has to say.
