Hi!
Since upgrading to Windows 10 I, like many others have lost access to several folders.
Most annoyingly I'm not able to access my F drive which is a partition labelled SYSTEM.
In the properties there is no security tab, only sharing options, and under those there are some permission options. Changing those doesn't do anything though (I was able to change the windows app folder permissions manually so it should work).
Running the take ownership with pause results in a file not found error (see pic). Cmd.exe exists, is working and located in system32 so it shouldn't be a problem with the path. Any ideas?
Hello Andulka, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)
For whatever reason, it's not able to find what you're trying to take ownership of.
You might see if you may be able to manually take ownership of it in an elevated command prompt to see how it works instead.
