My 2 cents: maybe Andlka system is not showing hidden and system files.
If that is the case the solutions given on Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives - Show in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums may help.

Thank you Brink! Yes of course it's the F drive that's not found and not the command. :)
And indeed since my previous message, upon rebooting, the entire drive F has disappeared from view, so obviously that's where the problem lies - for some reason Windows 10 isn't able to recognise the drive. Looks like I'm going to have to dig a bit deeper...

Double check in Disk Management to see if the partition still has a drive letter assigned to it.

Please provide more details about what you trying to take ownership of. You don't want to take ownership of the Windows C: drive though. Doing so will usually cause issues with Windows.
Is that an error message you get when you try to open the C: drive?
