Device manager shows it. Either I've forgotten how to get to Disk Management, possible, or they moved it.

Yes it shows in there just fine.
Are you able to access drive E: on disk 1 now?
Just to note, this only helps if you get the "The disk is write-protected." message.
Yes, I can open folders and look at my files.
Only problem left is to get this Win 10 computer to see a Linux/UBCD dvd in the dvd drive as bootable so I can run some diagnostices on the bad drive. I can play movie and music dvds no problem.

If you like, go ahead and create a new thread for the Linux/UBCD dvd issue to see if a solution can be found. :)
