Downloaded Windows 10 on 8/1 and the screen that is shows when you click "settings" and then "Colors" is not the same in my version of 10. It shows me windows and if I choose a color block below, it makes ALL the choices that one color, not allowing me to select one color for the start menu, another for the title bar and so on.
Oh, I misunderstood! I thought you could make each one a different color. Thanks!
I know, right? I miss that from 7 or XP or wherever it was last. I like to have colors that are easy for my eyes to look at all day. I work from home and am sometimes staring at my computer for 10 hours in a day. The white was killing me, so I'm so thankful I found this post and can at least make them all grey!
I'm new to windows 10. But I would like to make the colors as transparent as glass. You were able to have more control over the colors in windows 7. But, that doesn't seem to be an option in windows 10. I tried downloading the shortcut to color and appearance file but, it doesn't work. Am I missing something? I like the sliders you had in windows 7. It gave you infinite possibilities with the colors and transparency. I have Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. It would be nice to apply the same color change to the title bars as well.
Is there a way to get rid of the Bright White in Windows Explorer?
Nevermind I found a way

All your tip's in this forum are great Especially i like the aero-lite-theme, which color the top row and additional make a larger border around the windows. Looks much better now! Have added this now to point 2.8 on "my" list ;-)
Thank you very much!
