    Hello Cliff, :)

Yeah, I just noticed that and added a note to help.

To get the BBGGRR hex number, you will need to reverse the first two and last two characters of the RGB in the color table below.

In Note it says that you must turn on Show color on Start, taskbar, action center, and title bar to change the color of the inactive title bar.
That's not true in my case. In the registry dubbleclick on ColorPrevalence and change it's value from 0 to 1. Then the taskbar stays black:)

Yeah, I remember you mentioned that too, during one of our Skype meetings also. I just didn't think it applied when you have a list of HEX colors, but it seems they're given in RGB too. I don't know why they just don't post them how they should be entered

I found noticed it today while working on that theme for geheim.

    Hello prikker, :)

It depends on where in the registry your setting the ColorPrevalence DWORD. If the same DMW location as in the tutorial, then that's the same setting used by the tutorial link in the note box.

Okay. I'm not an expert on this subject. If I set show color or even change the wallpaper then my taskbar is blue or color of wallpaper and I have to go back in the registry to revert and apply changes again

The Reg tweak works as intended but, only fully on Explorer windows, regardless of the theme.
The only thing it will dim is the Title Bar Text and the Close/Min/Max buttons.
Any other windows and/or snap-ins, it will change the left, right and bottom border as well.

Strange. Why does it do this? If I had your look then I would not be satisfied and try everything to make it look the same

    Yeah, who knows!
There's so many different gradients over so many UI's with different 'layers'; combine that with MS's effort to make it all immersive across all devices, and it's a big mess!

Yup this game will end soon with Microsoft as winner, when Windows is completely RT.
