This tutorial will show you how to remove your face from Windows Hello for your account in Windows 10.
EXAMPLE: Windows Hello
Here's How:
1 Open Settings, and click/tap on the Accounts icon.
2 Click/tap on Sign-in options on the left side, and click/tap on the Remove button for Face Recognition under Windows Hello on the right side. (see screenshot below)
3 When finished, you can close Settings if you like.

This isn't working for me.
Even though I turned off Windows Hello in Sign-in options screen and set "Automatically unlock the screen if we recognize your face to" "OFF".,
when my computer is woken up, the camera light goes on, little camera icon appears on the screen along with the text " Turning on camera. Making Sure it's you. Couldn't recognize you ... use pin ..."
So, Hello and use of camera continue to be on. They just stop recognizing my face.
Do you knows how to _really_ turn Hello off?

Double check to make sure that you do not have a face left to remove, then turn off both Windows Hello settings below that. When on the sign-in screen next, click on the Sign-in options link, and select to sign in using something other than Face.

This doesn't work for me either. Pushing the button seems to do nothing. Windows still tries to recognize my face whenever it wants to verify identity. In practice it doesn't recognize me, which basically means I'm being greeted by an error message every time I open my laptop, which is pretty lame. But afaict it still has a face model that it's trying to use, despite pressing "remove" and also turning off "automatically dismiss the lock screen if we recognize your face".

Have you already tried to "Improve recognition" to see if that may help it work better?
