The esd you are using is not an ESD that contains 4 indexes, thus not compatible for ISO creation...
    Thus the Error message....
I think I get it. That tool found 2 indexes, "Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview" and "Windows 10 Technical Preview" in both the x86 and x64 esd's.

If I convert both esd to wim I can mount my MDT ISO, replace both esd's with these wims and remake it with oscdimg right?

you would have to export both esd indexes into a new install.wim and then replace to install.esd

to verify the new install.wim has both indexes - drag/drop install.wim back onto convert.cmd

"[WARNING] Extraction to "ISOFOLDER" complete, but with one or more warnings:[WARNING] - Could not set short names on 864 files or directories
Done applying WIM image." Is this alright?

    Hello,
I downloaded the windows 10 iso from Media Creation Tool -> butit still gave me the file install.esd instead of install.wim inside sources directory.
Then I downloaded the ESDtoISO tool from here, I put the install.esd file into the directory of the tool and launched it as administrator -> but it tells me "ERROR: The ESD file is not an original Microsoft ESD file"
Not as easy as Junctions on Win7. It seems like I won't can get my Users folder on an other drive...
    Any idea ?

The tool in this tutorial doesn't work for this type of esd file. Try the one from post #449.

Download the Windows 10 ISO from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softw...load/techbench
It contains the normal install.wim file.

No need to mess with ESD if using techbench ISO

Hey everyone, I've read through the whole thread and I still haven't found a particular answer to my problem.

There is a couple things here but i'm going to jump right into the ESD to ISO part.

I managed to make it all the way to the point in the video where I had to drag and drop my Install.esd to the same folder as the decrypter. However once I ran the decrypter as admin. It said my install.esd sources could not be found or was damaged or corrupt.

I've tried several other methods to fix this but nothing fixes the Install.esd file. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Much appreciated in advance, let me know if you need any other information

Welcome to the forums! Where did you get your Install.esd? Your specs say you're up to 10586.36, which is current.
