Honestly, I have no idea why that happened. Might be a damaged ESD file, might be anything else.

Where did you get the ESD file?
The ESD comes from here : removed by admin
There's no problem to convert the install.esd to install.wim using esd-decrypter-wimlib-5_0 but I have this error using your script...
That's not a big deal but I would have been happy if you had an idea :)
    See you

That's a third party file sharing site. I have no issues in creating ISO images from the official ESD file for Pro and Enterprise Build 10166, both 32 and 64 bit, various language versions.

    OK, no problem :)
Do you share the official ESD file somewhere ?

Probably already mentioned, but I have found that Install.esd resides in "C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\" even when I've successfully installed the update (tried with 10162 and 10166)

I'm unable to update my Windows 10 as I'm using boot to VHDX and it doesn't want to download and update in this case...
Every new build is a new install to me... until I have RSAT and all admin stuff I need to work on servers.

I've done the test on my Windows 10 laptop and it's OK... Maybe your software doesn't like when it's running under Windows Server 2012 R2...
    Thanks for your script

Hey, build 10240 is out and the old RSA keys don't work any more. abbodi1406 has updated his ESD Decrypter to include the new keys, can you update the OP too?

I was able to successfully create a build 10240 ISO using the tutorial. The key below will work for Pro only. :)

    Windows 10 Pro build 10240 - VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T
