It would be useful if you post the link for the esd.

My win10 install keeps downloading 100130, which always fails to install, and screws up the rest of the system. Persistent little s***, keeps doing it.

The only way I can think of is to d/l the esd on another os.
There are no download links available for 10130 or 10158 ESD files.

May see if I can persuade it to install tomorrow. Hope they fixed that bootmgr problem.

Enforced updates are a real turn off. Are they going to keep doing that? If so, I will be looking elsewhere for a main os.

As I have understood it the updates will be enforced in Home edition but not in Pro. I might be totally wrong but somehow I think I read it on some MS blog?

This is the ESD file i download for the Pro x64 EN-US

    Its okay?

    edit: so i get this

ERROR: Could not open boot sector file "ISOFOLDER\boot\etfsboot.com"
Error 3: The system cannot find the path specified.

Errors were reported during ISO creation.

    Press any key to exit.

    Means the esd is broken?

You might want to download the 10.0.130 ISO and forget the ESD to ISO conversion.

For safety, I increased the System Reserve partition on all of my machines from 100 MB to 450 MB. I had one bad install a few releases ago and helped a few other members who also had an issue - increasing the size seems to have helped in all cases.

Pro: Download Windows 10 Insider Preview ISO - Microsoft Windows

Enterprise: Windows 10 Enterprise Insider Preview | TechNet Evaluation Center

    Good luck,

Shouldn't there be more files than 959?

Don't know about Enterprise but looks it's exactly the same amount than in the British English Pro x64; it has 959 files in 100 folders, too.

Okay..., the iso seems a lot smaller too, (2.95GB compared to 3.64 for 10130)
All the elements seem to be in place though.
