    Do you see an option to boot to the usb? I'm asking, thinking you have not installed W10 yet.

    That's what it sounds like to me as well. Check to see if you are able to boot to your motherboard's Boot Menu to select to boot from the UEFI USB flash drive.

    I turn off the computer, insert the flash drive, turn on the computer, press Escape, choose F9, which shows me the Boot Menu.

    I think I may have found where I went wrong.

    Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10-usb-boot.png

    Note the Partition Scheme: "MBR partition scheme for BIOS and UEFI computers".

    Shouldn't that have been: "MBR partition scheme for UEFI computers" instead?

    I knew that! Why on earth did I let that happen!?

    BTW, when I looked at the partition scheme, GPT wasn't listed (in the finished product I gave a snippet of).
