Thanks for the reply sir. I am at "part 4 Run Sysprep, there was no error during the sysprep process. i also just copied your unattended answer file and replace the correct drive location of the install.wim. My reference computer shutdown properly after sysprep. I created the system image successfully. then i tried to boot my reference computer and continue the os installation but at the part when i press the "use express setting" i was just stuck at "just a moment"

After i press "use express setting"

...restore image to a partition with different sizes?
    Try this http://selfimage.en.softonic.com/

I used it to resize an 80GB partition down to a 25GB partition.
I actually imaged a larger drive to the smaller drive.
There was/is a process involved to get the newer smaller disk/drive to boot properly but it can be done.

    Very useful tutorial, thank you.

    Code:
    <cpi:offlineImage cpi:source="wim:X:/sources/install.wim#Windows TECHNICALPREVIEW" xmlns:cpi="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:cpi" />

Following the install media location, separated with #, see that you have the Windows version correctly
Assuming this method works on other versions of Windows 10...

How does one determine the correct information for the cpi:source name?
I.E. that which comes after the #

    Also, for the publickKeyToken ?

@Kari your tutorial is great., But I'm facing some problems . After restoring image ,,, getting ready screen is taking 25 minutes and then just ready screen is taking 30 minutes.
    Any solution ....
Btw my machine is fast enough and only take 15 minutes to clean install a windows 10 os.

Hello kari, i was reading your post and i would like to ask, if you are not busy, do you have any other post refering the title but in win10 ver 1803? I need it to make images of some Lenovo Yogas in my work and then deploy them using SCCM, but the problem i encountered is that now after the deployment they will be stuck forever into "Wait for a moment" , by surfing the we i discover that it may be the sysprep.

If you can it will be great to get a Tutorial on how to do it with the new version and if is posible to fully customize it, including taskbar, to get off the anoying win10 bloatware.

    Profiles

The part where you move other users to another drive. will that not mess up the image when you reboot or go to install on another computer? Considering the profiles are no longed longer their.

Thanks in advance. Your site has always been right on other sites I have used ended up crashing my computer or what I changed way later mess it up. Also everone tells you another way to do it.

Also please change the aduit mode shift Ctrl F3 option has been moved to where it asks you to put in your user name. Took me an hour to find that out. This is windows Home 2004 x64

    Welcome to Ten Forums!

An image without any drivers can be used for deployment to any computer capable to run Windows 10. You should have no issues.

Windows 10 is extremely good in finding correct drivers by itself at first boot to OOBE.
