Windows 10 - Clean Install of my desktop computer - I used the Great tutorial that is available to all.
I did my Windows 10 Clean Install with UEFI yesterday, 4 October. I had upgraded to Win 10 about one month ago, and it appeared to be working well. I do like Windows 10 and will be keeping it so it was time to do a Clean Install to make a CLEAN one and learn more about it.
This Clean Install Tutorial on TenForums shows everything that needs to be done... so just do it. Thanks so much for having the great tutorial available for all to see and be able to do all the steps needed.
I appreciate all the efforts to make it and show all steps to make life a bit easier for first-time users. Thanks to all and maybe someday I will be able to help or work with someone to assist them in following the steps to make it happen.
I copied my downloads folder over to a backup area, and gathered up needed and programs before making an IMAGE file with Macrium Reflect Free (MRF). I also used MRF to make a bootable RESCUE DVD disk and checked it to see if it would actually boot.... I used Minitool 9.1 to check my Drive C: partitions, and used a 16GB USB chip to make a bootable USB file using the Microsoft insructions.... N
Now it is finally time to reboot and get the system to boot from the USB to start doing the Clean Install.... Yes, all is fine with my new Windows 10 system. I reloaded all the programs last night that I will be using from my Macrium Reflect FREE image data http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx file... and all are fine. Now my Win 10 system is only a total of about 18GB on my new 500GB SSD. I also saved a new Macrium Reflect Windows 10 Image data file named "Windows-10-Clean-install-4-Oct" in case I ever need to load it again. I am happy with it. Thanks to each of the TenForums users for many comments and a Special Thanks to "Word Man" for help and guidance/assistance/training with Windows 10.
Thanks for all who made the Great Tutorial files and movie to show what is supposed to happen.. You have made life easier for the rest of us. All be save... Thanks Cliff M.
