I figured it out... For some reason, editing the context entries at KEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.PowerShellScript.1\Shell was having no effect, but after tracking down their true location using ShellMenuView, it turns out that on my system, they're under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\.ps1\Shell

    I wonder why
Interesting. Which build number do you have installed? I'll check on my system to see if there may be a difference.

I just tested on 19044.1415, and the context menu is working for me. Odd it's different for you.

In that github thread people were saying their ps1 context menu went awry after installing the PowerShell extension into VSCode. That might be worth testing.

    Sounds like a possible bug.

    Hello Theo, and welcome.

I'll take a look today and see if I can get it working on W11.

EDIT: Got it working on W11 now. Will post back with an updated tutorial shortly.
