dism cannot find source
I have just spent ca 40 minutes researching and composing a reply, but on pressing the back button as required by the system, the entire message was deleted.
The computer is new but scannow shows that a number of Windows accessory files are corrupted, both the working and in the cache.
I therefore ran dism using the original installation disc.

The E: drive was not accessed.
I ran C:\Windows\system32>dism /online /cleanup-image /restoreHealth /source:e:\sources /limitaccess
The E: drive was accessed, same error.
I downloaded the ISO file and burnt it to a DVD. Dism with install.esp - same error
I copied the install.wim from the installation disc to C:\windows - same error
Ran dism /online /cleanup-image /restoreHealth -same error
Ran dism /online /cleanup-image /checkHealth - "The component store is repairable."
I think the virus corrupted the system files. Could it be preventing access to the source file?
