No, I am on Windows 11 Professional Edition x64 Build 23H2 22631.2191 Beta Insiders and the extracted cab file, Device Manager is not picking up anything new versions of drivers for the software components. As this forum was for Windows 10 originally, I only visit this forum periodically since I am on elevenforums most of the time.

What you mention above as the content of post #875 is wrong as post #875 actually says:
    "Realtek Audio Processing Object 13.180.1113.170
    Realtek Universal Service 1.0.629.0
    Realtek Hardware Support Application 11.0.6000.302"

and not "Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - MEDIA - 6.0.9531.1 (all-oem)" as you had mentioned above.

"Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - MEDIA - 6.0.9531.1 (all-oem) is actually in post #878.

No, I am on Windows 11 Professional Edition x64 Build 23H2 22631.2191 Beta Insiders and the extracted cab file, Device Manager is not picking up anything new versions of drivers for the software components.

Also, your new link in post #875 which consists of the following works and updates fine:
Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version [3]-2023-08-12_13-13-15.png
    which is 70.9MB when extracted

as in the Device Manager are the following:
    Audio Processing Object (APOs)
^- Realtek Audio Effects Component v13.0.6000.1097 dated July 19, 2023

    Software Components
^- Realtek Audio Universal Service v1.0.629.0 dated July 17, 2023

Post #878 which is the one that doesn't work using your original link clearly are not the same files as #875 as it consists of the following:
Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version [3]-2023-08-12_13-23-50.png

which is 81.6MB when extracted and basically a 10.7MB size difference when extracted and does not even have the same file/directory structure and file dates.

I figured it out, post #878 and #875 are clearly two different things which was the reason I made the comment in post #879.

Post #875 is known as "Realtek Software Components" which goes into Device Manager as:
    Device Manager are the following:
    Audio Processing Object (APOs)
^- Realtek Audio Effects Component v13.0.6000.1097 dated July 19, 2023

    Software Components
^- Realtek Audio Universal Service v1.0.629.0 dated July 17, 2023
    and
Post #878 is known as "Realtek UAD Audio Driver v6.0.9531.1 dated June 15, 2023"
which are two different things, #878 is the actual sound drivers that goes in device manager as:
    Sound, video and game controllers:
    ^- Realtek(R) Audio

In any case, thanks for the updated drivers and software components.

I'm on Windows 11 Pro, it seems there is no value to Post 853 since 875 has newer versions. Yes it moves the Realtek Audio Effects Component to a new heading called Audio Processing Objects (APOs) however it is not unique. I found that when I updated my DTS Audio Effects Component it also moved under the same heading. So it appears Microsoft is re-classifying these for whatever reasons.

Does anyone know how to get the Realtek Hardware Support Application to show up in Device Manager as I am on a Dell XPS 15 9570 so they do not provide UDA drivers so in order to use UDA, I have to start with pal1000's generic UAD drivers and it seems some versions has the Realtek Hardware Support Application in Software Devices and some don't and only when it does would I be able to install the HSA as a update.

Dell uses realtek UAD drivers, but they use Dell audio app (which is just rebatched realtek audio console) or Dell Optimizer app or Waves MaxxAudio Pro app.

Yes but the Dell XPS 15 9570 is a 2018/2019 model shipping with Windows 10 and as I recall, the last thing they released was HDA with the Waves MaxxAudio Pro app and not UAD. Is there a way to tell from the filenames if it is UAD or HDA? This is the file structure of .exe I just downloaded.

If your laptop is eligible for windows 11 update, then it has the new UAD drivers.

9570 laptop are borderline unicorns. Only specific 9570 models with 8th gen CPU are windows 11 eligible. There are 9570 models with 7th gen CPU that are not windows 11 eligible.

If your realtek hardware id is in the 4 2018.inf files (your screenshot), then you have the UAD drivers. If your realtek hardware id is in the remaining 2 inf files, then you have the old drivers.

Not really because there is no way I can confirm if it was really HDA either or than assuming that as I could be 100% wrong.

The first part I would not know since I was in Windows Beta Insiders before Windows 11 was even officially released which was very close to the first few builds. It is an 8th generation i8750H CPU.

I will look at the Hardware ID and the INF files when I have more time and thanks for your help as always.
