    Hello!
My GF have what seems to be same issue.
She bought a new lenovo notebook a few months ago and she have been having mic issues since the beginning. At first we though it was an issue with her mic but than we bought her a new headset and she is having the same issues even using the headset.
Her problem is also not happening everywhere, her skype works fine, but on discord or battle.net it's not working well. The issue is wierd I can some times hear her, but than her volume drops and breaks some times, is very hard to keep a conversation.

If anyone finds a solution please let me know.

Try deleting the driver for Audio and reinstalling, does not seem to be my issue, so probably will work fine eventually
you might also want to play with Privacy settings and mic access

Hi, been working on this problem all morning! Lenovo B50-70. Mic was working in system Audio settings but not on Jitsy, Zoom or Meet. Deleting the Conexant driver and installing version 8.65.262.0 has worked for me.

Softpedia does not have a driver for my laptop - I have a very specific Dolby Audio SYstem driver, and as you can see - it is ****ed up either by microsoft or Lenovo and noone takes responsibility
