hi all i have lenovo ideapad gaming laptop been trying to find a new realtek driver im on windows 11 ran the script as i had it saved , it says this Realtek Audio Driver Integration log informationDevice HWID: INTELAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0257&SUBSYS_17AA3874&REV_1000Realtek Driver Version: 6.0.8963.1 (UAD)Proposed UAD driver : - INF needed to install : hdxlvsst.inf

Lenovo has no new drivers and this one does not like to come out of sleep mode after the pc wakes not a big deal as i just click it and it wakes up. any ideas what driver i would grab for windows 11 pro ?
can you be a little more specific about your Lenovo ideapad gaming laptop, Tonyb? like what is the model number of your ideapad laptop {ex. IdeaPad Gaming 3 15IMH05 (81Y4)}.

run either dxdiag.exe or msinfo32.exe to gather more specs of your Lenovo laptop (including the model #)

Good to know I figured it out right. Seeing as ASRock has never posted a newer driver on my mobo's download page, it sounds like the smart choice then would be to leave it alone and not try and mess around with other drivers.

I tried Microsoft's generic driver by uninstalling the Realtek driver, and I couldn't find an option in Recording Devices to enable Stereo Mix, which I realized I need to fix audio bugs in older games. Unless I missed something somewhere, it looks like the Realtek driver still offers me functionality I can't get elsewhere. So, it looks like I'm gonna have to leave well enough alone.
your ASRock Z170 board is several years old and ASRock stopped issuing new drivers for it long ago, so the board is a discontinued one of course - best to stick with that old 6.0.1.7634 driver (unless you can go with either 6.0.1.8036 [R2.81] or 6.0.1.8186 [R2.82] but 8186 may produce a non-working Realtek audio control panel app for some configs)

FF00 drivers first started around 6.0.1.8000 something (past the R2.80 driver release) when Realtek started to "separate" the different DLL integration files

So I ran the script last night and got this result for my ASRock mobo:

Realtek Audio Driver Integration log information

    Device HWID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0900&SUBSYS_18491157&REV_1000

    Realtek Driver Version: 6.0.1.7634 (HDA)
Proposed HDA driver : ASRock specific - Multiple Integrations
INF needed to install : hdxrt.inf

Not sure how to interpret this other than that it's an amalgamation of multiple driver packages. The posted driver date is 10/13/2015, is there anything more recent for me to update to?

    hi AndyDandy,
here are several Realtek HDA driver versions direct from ASRock's web site that I found that could be used on your board:

    v6.0.1.8010
    v6.0.1.8004 (R2.80)
    v6.0.1.7989
    v6.0.1.7935
    v6.0.1.7910

I've downloaded & checked the contents of the 6.0.8963.1 driver package from Lenovo for the IdeaPad Gaming 3 15IMH05 laptop and it appears that it's a UAD/DCH driver (and not a standard/legacy HDA FFxx driver) in which this realtek audio driver detection script should have been used instead.

as for the sleep mode problem you're having, I think you need to contact Lenovo support and tell them about the problem so they can issue new drivers (and/or new firmware/bios updates) for it. you may also want to post the problem in the Lenovo forums as well and see if you get a response there.

edit - although the 15IMH05 model laptop is eligible for the Win11 upgrade as I checked Lenovo's Win11 compatibility list on their support site, Lenovo has not yet provided Win11 specific drivers for it [it's kinda like that with my brother's HP Spectre x360 15 {year 2020} laptop which was offered the Win11 upgrade but I declined it - still running Win10 Home 20H2 and having the originally installed Realtek audio v6.0.8720.1 driver (UAD) as that's the version available for that HP laptop and HP has not yet provided Win11 specific drivers for that HP model yet - I'll wait for HP to provide a newer version for that HP Spectre laptop since the 8720 version is working well on there]

sorry I can't reveal all my "secrets" for finding those drivers but I will say this

these drivers were listed for certain or specific boards and the drivers are "generic", meaning it can be used on virtually any system with an onboard Realtek HD audio device - in the case of 6.0.1.7910, that version was listed for an ASRock J3455M motherboard (driver version listed as "ver:7910") but can be used on any other ASRock board containing Realtek HD audio.
v6.0.1.8004 used to be mentioned for certain AB350/AB350M motherboards but was replaced by newer HDA driver versions a few years later (and no longer lists the 8004 version) but the older versions do remain available

Hello guys, i'd really appreciate some help with these realtek drivers...
I have really ancient PC that i mostly use for music/movies and i recently updated to Win10 from 7. Since i updated the sound is very bad. It sounds muffled and it's definitely quieter. The motherboard is P5QL Pro with Realtek ALC1200 that uses the generic FF00 driver.
I currently have installed 6.0.9205.1 and i have tried with the older R2.82 driver both with the hdrxt file in the installation folder for the FF00 - Generic driver, but there isn't any change in sound.. The problem is when i run the first powershell test it says the hdxrt is still not installed? Here is Image, but that's seems the driver i have Determine the HDA Realtek driver needed for your Audio-realtek.jpg

Maybe i need different driver for that Hardware ID or i'm doing something else wrong?

    Hi and welcome to TenForums!

According to your screenshot you have installed HDA version 6.0.9205.1 FF00, using the hdrxt .inf file.
    It looks perfectly OK, installation-wise!
The script tells you that you need hdrxt .inf to install any new driver. It finds it from your current installation!

Now regarding the "bad" sound, I would suggest to try a few FF00 drivers, between the R2.82 and the 6.0.9205.1 you currently have. You say that
    it's definitely quieter
Compared to which driver? Since you have an old motherboard, maybe you should stick to the driver that sounded good!

I don't know exactly how or why the Creative APO DLL files are used with the v6.0.1.6xxx drivers (like the 6.0.1.6098 & 6.0.1.6127 versions) but they are used silently along with the MaxxAudio APO DLL files to ensure the bundled Maxxaudio application software will work.

Note that the FFxx HDA drivers started in the 8000s (ex. 6.0.1.8025 or any version above 6.0.1.8036 [R2.81]). there are no "FFxx" designations with the customized audio driver versions such as 6.0.1.6098 & 6.0.1.6127 and these versions bundle specific INF files like HDXADC.inf, HDXADCMA.inf, HAXADCMAX6.inf & HDXADCMAX7.inf that are NOT included in the generic/normal FFxx HDA drivers

You also need to understand that Realtek made these customized / specialized audio drivers specific to certain Dell Optiplex, Latitude & Precision series of computers and using the generic FFxx HDA driver 6.0.1.8xxx versions on these Dell computers would result in missing or crippled audio features, like what happened to this fella mentioned in this Dell forum (who has a Dell Optiplex 7460 AIO desktop PC and installed a 6.0.1.8491 FFxx HDA driver - I eventually helped him use a "customized" HDA driver specific to his Optiplex computer that uses the HDXADCMAX8.INF file - that INF file is also not included in the generic/normal FFxx HDA driver packs)

a few notes about these "old" 6.0.1.6098 & 6.0.1.6127 Dell based HDA drivers - they're also available from MS update catalog (MUC) but the ones found on MS update do bundle the generic hdxrt.inf file while the ones provided by the Dell support site leave out / exclude the generic hdart.inf & hdxrt.inf files (usually to install only on supported Dell PCs)

there are few other new generic HDA FF00 drivers available, such as 6.0.9225.1 from evga, 6.0.9235.1 from Biostar and newly released 6.0.9239.1 from ASRock.
