I been up 30 hours again trying to get realtek audio console to downlaod, decdied to do a new windows install, no luck, its a x570 phantom gaming mobo, using their base driver Realtek_Audio(v9030.1_UAD_WHQL_RTK).

My god why? just why and add step to install the rest of a driver is insanity... now if it just downloaded it in a dumb way like steam and let me do the rest it would not be so bad but Microsoft store refuses to work and download it.

Can I get the program from somewhere else or is there unmolested driver I can use? I tried to use the old HD manager it kinda works but echo acoustic cancellation and noise cancellation is broken and not working, is their a third party audio manager yet that I can use to manage features?

I've run into this problem with every other motherboard since 1150/AM3, heck sound cards also seem to have the same problem of missing features, picked up a 30$ Xonar AE , no echo acoustic cancellation, I need it that for streaming as I can;t wear headphones for long...but the Xonar DX seems to have it... have to return this card and try that card, also can't see to find a 7.1 USB card that has both noise cancel features, I assume its a lag/bandwidth issue?

Anyway the audio chipset on this board is pretty useless to me without noise cancel......*sigh* its scary when nhamic/sonic studio worked more often...

there are at least 5 different versions of X570 Phantom Gaming boards, ZippyDSMlee.

X570 Phantom Gaming X & X570 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB3 boards have Creative Sound Blaster Cinema 5 support. the other x570 boards (the Phantom Gaming 4 boards) use UAD_WHQL_RTK drivers (those without Creative)

edit - the ASRock site shows me the 6.0.9231.1 driver for X570 Phantom Gaming 4 boards (even though 9231 is listed specifically for Win11, it works for recent Win10 versions as well)

Oh before I start my reply what happened to selecting the audio output manually? Was that just a rare amazing thing they removed for shats and giggles? Also is there a total realtek driver/utility reset/removal tool? Thanks for any info.

Yup have that driver, removed/reinstalled it a few times, turned AEC off, rebooted, turned back on rebooted a few times, it seems more an issue with either the hardware itself or something in the registry has locked up, anyway I picked up a 50$ Gigabyte X570 AORUS Elite. Never saw a chipset break a couple features but mostly work, they tend to get stuck or have audio artifact noise in them beyond AEC/noise cancel not working. Still feels like realtek audio console(and windows app store in general
lul) is broken and no one wants to fix it. *sigh*

Whenever the new mobo comes in, I will sit down and install fresh windows again and double check AEC is broken on the old, it could be a broken registry entry.

You asked the same questions over and over again --- and you ignored my advice last year.

Install the 9336 one. Install using the installer exe. Then run Microsoft Store.

It would only take you like 10 seconds to search what is Windows 10 RS2 --- which is Windows 10 1703 all the way back to April 2017.

my question wasnt on w10 rs2
If you bother to just hover on the 8619 download button, it will tell you that the 8619 driver download file is called realtek_nahimic_audio.zip --- which by definition has nahimic. Your motherboard comes with Nahimic, it doesn't matter whether it's 8619 or 9336, they both have nahimic.

Did MSI or I say to go the Microsoft Store to search for the Nahimic app and install it?

    NO.

When you installed the msi driver correctly, it will automatically "bought" the nahimic app for you and perhaps even install a copy of the nahimic app on your computer. All MSI and I said is go to Microsoft Store to update the nahimic app that was already bought and installed on your computer.
