not Gigabyte but ASRock M3A785GMH/128M.. I still have original CD driver (for Windows Vista ) and I noticed there are two audio drivers there, one in the Audio folder, one in the NB Audio one.. ???
That one in chipset folder must be for audio thru HDMI, just grab one from Realtek, HDMI has nothing to do with CODEC chip.

hey guys, just found this thread, don't know if it'd be useful to me, too..

My MB has a Realtek ALC888 integrated chipset; I always used the Windows preinstalled drivers but I have only standard controls with these one, no try icon etc etc. So, are the drivers here good for me? Will I have more controls on audio features after installation?

    thanks!
They're perfect. I have ALC888S on my system and I've always used the Realtek HD Audio.
Just download the latest version below and let us know if you need help with anything.

that's what I did then, drivers on CD really too old!

I just found tht when booting Windos I have

Realtek HD Audio Driver Version old post-realtek-drivers-01.jpg

I know hot to solve by unchecking the protection of that file (downloaded files block), but don't know if it's normal...

I installed drivers with the linked method in OP..

I'm from Spain, but my 2nd language is Italian. If you want, explain to me in Italian and I will answer.
Allora, questo appare al startup? Succede ogni volta?

Se succede ogni volta, questa potrebbe essere una soluzione:

Digita cmd nel Search, Realtek HD Audio Driver Version old post-screen-shot-03-20-17-10.05-pm.jpg
vedrai cmd. Click il tasto destro su cmd e scegli Esegui come amministratore. Realtek HD Audio Driver Version old post-screen-shot-03-20-17-10.00-pm.jpg

Uncheck the box and you should be OK. Or find this file, right-click and make sure it is not blocked.
