The release date for R2.81 of the realtek software needs to be changed to Jan. 13, 2017. I just today noticed this error.

Hey, I am not a fan of the official realtek build 2.81 so I wanted to ask you guys which version would you recommend. There are tons of versions coming from this forum but I want to know what will be overall "the best one".

Looking mostly for version that will sound good, music wise, movies/videos won't have too quiet voices and effects superloud. Gaming sound would also be a plus.

It differs from system to system and CODEC chip, no way to say which one will be best for yours. I didn't have any problems with sound with any of them but getting poorer options than some other systems.
Post your system and maybe someone would have same one to compare.

By "System" I meant computer itself, make of MB or computer manufacturer.

Probable some hotfixes and compatibility improvements. Unfortunately mostly newer chipset benefit, older stay the same, or worse not included at all.
