Has anyone else noticed that the latest update to that app has added it there? I have disallowed its working in the background, and that must be why it's also shown as 'disabled' in startup.

If you don't want the app, use Revo Uninstaller Portable to uninstall it.

It has a function to specifically uninstall Store apps.

Can't it be uninstalled the normal way? Is it like Edge in that regard?

I use Revo because it can be configured to automatically create a System Restore point beforehand, and has an option to clean up leftover registry items, and files/folders for you.

That's fine and dandy, but it's not really an answer to my question.

So try uninstalling it the "normal way".

Then, you'll answer your own question.

So you are implying that it can't be uninstalled that way?

In any case, that wasn't my original question.

It appears that after 7 hours, and just one member responding, that no one knows why.

Do some more research, or just uninstall it.

    You're welcome.
