    EML issue

I use MS Mail as my email editor as it is easy and covers my 3 accounts.
I am confused and have spent hours trying to solve this EML issue. It is bc I have MS Mail that my recipients get EML files which they cannot open??
I have an iPhone an wonder if that is the culprit.
I need to have an email editor which sends files that others can open regardless of their ability.
I cannot find a converter which is free either.

This just started lately and I never saw this before. Why is that?

Hi, why not explore this yourself?

    a. Determine what it is that you are sending that is seen as an eml file by recipients. E.g. Are you forwarding emails such that these are attached as eml files?

    b. Discover what your recipients are using to try to open your email.

Emulate that for yourself. For example, if they use a browser, use that browser yourself- create an email account if necessary to do so. If they are using a client such as Thunderbird, say, then install a copy, and try sending the problem email to that client.

Why do you ask about a convertor? To convert from what to what? And would you or the recipient be using it? Don't see how that fits in.

    (a) and (b) suggest some of the information that is missing.

The combination of iPhone + Mail may have something to do with this. Why would MS still use this relic of an extension?
After about 3 , 3 hour days I surrender. as it is not time efficient.
