Has anyone succeeded in getting Firehand Ember to work on Windows 10

I am trying to make Firehand Ember work with Windows 10. I have signed in as an Administrator and this got through the first error message. However, I am unable to crop the pictures. Can anyone remind me how to crop in Firehand Ember and also tell me how to make the Firehand program compatible with Windows 10. [ EDITED BY MODERATOR} Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi:

I'm not familiar with that program, so we'll need to wait for someone to come along who is....

...Until then, I suggest editing your post to remove your email address, unless you want to acquire 10,000 new "friends" out of the blue.

    Cheers,

Just spotted this as a result of a cross post to a thread I'd started re using two monitors in which I mentioned Ember in passing.
Like you I like Ember so much I still use it in favour to all other similar programs around.

While there are a couple of minor issues that I've noticed, mainly with the folder listing adding some strange folder names, everything else seems to work as before.

As for cropping, never used that, but having just tried it, it does work. Select an image (best make a copy first) Process - Crop. Then select dimensions. That is an odd way of doing it and takes a bit of trial and error to figure out what figures to put in the boxes.

    Hope that helps.
