Microsoft Store does not work on Windows 10

    Hi,

The Microsoft Store on my laptop (Dell Inspiron 14 / Windows 10 version 1607) does not work. A screen capture is included in this post. The issue started a few weeks ago, before the last few updates. I have attempted several fixes that I have found on the Internet, all with no success. I have done the clear and reset fix - i.e. wsreset.exe. I have done several power shell command fixes with no success. The last thing I did was a system file system check - i.e. sfc /scannow and everything was fine. The issue occurs even on a newly created user. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Ricardo

Hello Ricardo and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

You might see if the Store troubleshooter may be able to help.

    Hi Brink,

Thank you for responding. I tried that earlier and did not fix the problem. I just tried it again, following the link on your response and it did the same thing it did when I ran that before.

It said: "Windows Store cache and licenses may be corrupt. Resetting Windows Store will resolve cache and license issues and restart Windows Store, would you like to reset now?"

When I choose to fix it, it does it thing and comes back with a message saying that the issue was fixed. However, Microsoft Store still does not work.

    Regards,

    Ricardo

If you like, see if step 3 in OPTION ONE below to re-register all apps for all accounts may be able to help.

If it still doesn't help, then you could do a repair install to fix it without losing anything.
