Easy Recovery Essentials Pro Windows 10 - Free Offer

Hey everyone, I posted this on SevenForums already, wanted to share here as well since it is more appropriate.

The pro version for Windows 10 looks to be a free offer at the moment.

Anyone have experience with this program, is it any good?

I know nothing about this program; however, what I do know is that for now, we don't need recovery programs for Windows 10. Reason(s) being:

    1. Windows 10 is in Beta (Technical Preview) and should something go wrong, it's just as easy to reinstall.
    2. Windows 10 is in Beta (Technical Preview) and should not be used as one's day to day operating system. If something can go wrong, it will. Period.
    3. Windows 10 is in Beta (Technical Preview) and one should only use it for testing; install anything you wish, but know that it may not work. Keep your data on a separate drive, even if it's a flash drive, knowing that if Windows 10 crashes, your data is safe. :)

My opinion is that as long as one uses Windows 10 Technical Preview as it is intended, there's no need for any type of recovery system.

    How I use Windows 10:

I am dual booting with Windows 8.1 and have an external hard drive. All the apps I've used over the years are on the Windows 8.1 partition. All of my files are on the external hard drive. I have installed a few programs, mainly to check whether they will work with Windows 10, but also some I need daily. I have Office 365 installed on Windows 10.

OK, everything is pretty well locked down so that if Windows 10 crashes, I'll be OK. I am now free to use Windows 10 as my "day to day" OS without endangering anything else.

If Windows 10 fall down, go boom, I can just use my bootable flash drive with the latest version of Windows 10 to reinstall. Yeah, I will then have to install a few programs, but . . .
