I upgraded to Windows 10 on my desktop PC 2 months ago and discovered my Nero 2015 Bluray player no longer plays Bluray disks. This seems a common problem due to underwhelming software engineering expertise of Nero.

I found recommendations for this Leawo player and downloaded it from http://www.leawo.com/blu-ray-player/

It shows clear on a Kaspersky antivirus scan and Kaspersky Application Advisor shows it 100% safe (see screenshot). I've installed it and it works fine on both commercial BluRay disks and recordings from my Panasonic HDTV BluRay recorder. It even plays the Panasonic DR format which my Sony BluRay player won't handle! I'm impressed for free software (unlike the Nero player in their bundle). I haven't cracked yet how to make it autoplay a Bluray disk.

Have you any concerns about backdoors built in to software from western nations due to influence from government agencies?
